G.L.U.E Mentoring Program

Jam Sessions/Group Mentoring: We will meet the 1st Saturday of each month at the District Heights Recreation Center.

One on One Mentoring: It is not enough to celebrate “sisterhood” without also providing examples of strength. We can’t tell girls they can change the world without equipping them to take on the task. If we encourage young girls to dream big, we must provide direction and skills to help them make those dreams a reality.

Leadership Development: The leadership development program focuses on what it takes and what it means to be a leader.

Self Love Program: Helping the young women realize their self-worth.

Field Trips: Movies, Theatrical Plays, Volunteering at Food Pantries

Community Outreach

G.L.U.E is excited to announce  that we have  completed  our first community outreach activity! We were able to provide 50 backpacks to young ladies in need in grades 4 - 8 for the 2018-2019 school year.

G.L.U.E donated backpacks to  United Communities Against Proverty, Inc. (UCAP)  to help young ladies thrive in their education this school year!

This is an effort that we would like to continue as a part of our community outreach. School supplies listed on the PG County School Supply List are  welcomed!
