Girls Like Us Evolving, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit mentor program based in Prince George's County, Maryland.
GLUE is focused on inspiring young women to overcome and thrive through life's challenges by embracing change, promoting healthier relationships and life choices, encouraging personal development and self-love.
Our mission is to help young women of all walks of life evolve and provide opportunities for young woman to develop healthy lifestyles, advance their knowledge for lifetime learning and build communities of support.
GLUE envisions a world in which all girls and young women, regardless of race, ethnicity, income level or social status, are nurtured and empowered to evolve to their fullest potential.
You must never be fearful about what you are doing when it is right.
Jam Sessions/Group Mentoring: We will meet the 1st Saturday of each month at the District Heights Recreation Center.
One on One Mentoring: It is not enough to celebrate “sisterhood” without also providing examples of strength. We can’t tell girls they can change the world without equipping them to take on the task. If we encourage young girls to dream big, we must provide direction and skills to help them make those dreams a reality.
Leadership Development: The leadership development program focuses on what it takes and what it means to be a leader.
Self Love Program: Helping the young women realize their self-worth.
Field Trips: Movies, Theatrical Plays, Volunteering at Food Pantries
Promoting Self-Awareness, Self-Admiration, Motivation and Inspiration!
